there was only one last thing left to do after the couple had spent the entire day prior decorating his apartment in halloween spirit. a surprise for her, something they both could do, the surprise was something he didn’t think he had done once before. though he normally was busy during halloween - this year much different for once - he was happy for the change.
finding her finishing a meal in the kitchen, he made his way over, arms loosely wrapping around her shoulders from behind. “hey, you.” a quick greeting, a swift kiss to her cheek. “when you’re done with that, we gotta get ready. dress warm today, a’ight? it’s gonna be kinda windy today.”
